So, if you know Ryan, you already know all of this so just go ahead and stop reading because you have most likely heard the story at least once. Well Ryan Haskins Barnes was born at 27 1/2 weeks on July 10, 1979 in Daytona Beach, FL. He weighed in at a wopping 3lbs. 1 oz. and stayed in the hospital for 2 months. When the little guy came home from the hospital he still was not 5 lbs. During these two months God showed just how amazing he is to the Barnes family. Not to bore you with the specifics but.... since they were just on vacation when the little guy arrived, obviously they did not live in Florida..Through several sequence of events... Claire and Dudley Barnes were given a home, furnishings for the home, along with several gifts and blessings only our Savior could provide.
As I sit and write it brings tears to my eyes for several reasons: It makes me thank God for our two little blessings that entered the world healthy and with out any medical problems, thankful for my wonderful miracle baby hubbie, thankful for my Barnes family and that because of their faith and prayer that miracle baby is with us, thankful for the way Claire and Dudley raised their miracle baby to be a strong Christian man, father, son and husband! Thankfull for what our Savior did for us! Thank you God for our miracle baby, Ryan Haskins Barnes!

I am so thankful for our Ryan too! It was a privilege to be there the night God brought Ryan into the world. He certainly had His hand on this little baby boy as all of the needs were met there at Ormond Beach. This is a wonderful memory I will always cherish! Happy Birthday Ryan!!!
